Description
A&R Fabrication is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder / Millwright to join our team at our Idaho Falls location. This is a permanent full-time position, offering 40 hours per week. As a Welder / Millwright, you will be responsible for performing welding and millwright duties to support our fabrication and maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication, Assembly of assorted parts in the shop or in the field
- Welding, Cutting, and Grinding
- Working on mechanical systems (chains, conveyors, motors, bearings, gear boxes, etc.)
- Working in various environments (off the ground, in the field, or in the shop)
- Professionally represent A&R in all communication mediums
- Abide by all company policies and standards of conduct
- Working individually or as a team
- Operating a variety of equipment and vehicles such as trucks, forklifts, and cranes
- Operating shears, brakes, CNC equipment and other fabrication equipment
- Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to be Drug Free
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (some college preferred)
- Current Valid Driver’s License, CDL is a PLUS!
- Valid Social Security Number / Card
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Able to pass a welding test (MIG, TIG and Stick)
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organization skills
- Be able to operate assorted hand tools
- Must be able to prioritize and apply good judgment
- Desire to constantly learn new equipment and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
